Folarin Olatunji, DNP, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner at Heart & Vascular Center of West Tennessee.

Olatunji started his career with Shell, one of the largest oil and gas exploration companies in Warri, Nigeria. After this, he managed the marketing unit at three Nigerian banks before migrating to the United States. He has achieved numerous medical degrees including:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University

• Master of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University

• Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Oakland University

Folarin is also a member of AANP and is board certified through the ANCC. He also has inter-disciplinary experience in multiple medical studies including:

• Cardiology

• Emergency room

• Family practice

• Urgent care

• Occupational health

Following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Folarin traveled all over the United States contributing his expertise to patient care in numerous states. He is now proud to be permanently based in Jackson, TN.

Folarin is a jazz enthusiast, currently learning to play the alto saxophone. He is also a martial artist, holding a 3rd-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate.
